Remember When...

I remember the days I could take my Bible, pen, and keys to Bible study. Now it takes two trips with toys, snacks, diaper bag, and kid.

The Duck

We have been having a rough time getting Janna to sleep lately. Last night we were rocking together, being calm and peaceful, head rested on my shoulder eyes drifting closed, then all of a sudden she sits straight up, looks at me, smiles really big and says “quack, quack, quack” while flapping her arms. I laughed out loud. It was the cutest thing, even if I was an effort to put off bed time. We did this process two or three times and since I couldn’t keep from laughing and she thought it was a game and not bed time I call in reinforcements and Isaac got her down with in a few minutes, no quacking just a little fussing.
