Janna Teaches

I often talk about what a good big sister Janna is to Simon. Here is an example. Janna is teaching Simon how to write. Note: She is using her left hand and he is using his right. I am so proud of her.

J-pancake

This morning Isaac being the awesome dad he is made Janna a pancake "J " shaped. She was very excited about this special treat. Yummy she says, it taste like a "C".

Next quest: to make a " S " pancake, we will see if he can make one soon:)

Simon

Simon is transitioning to his booster seat from the high chair and is loving it.

He is throwing more "fits"....especially when getting dressed or being taken out of the bathtub.

Simon loves water.

He is starting to like books. He love Good night Moon and Peek a boo.

He still sleeps with Elmo and burp rags. Sometimes he brings other toys with him.

Simon is talking a lot more. I love hearing him babble.

He is now shaking his head yes and no which is very helpful.

Simon will be two in August and I amazed all how fast he is growing these days.

Janna

Janna calls the dandelion weed flowers ---wish flowers.

The other day in church during the sermon, Janna answered the question the pastor was talking about (when he never did). How do you get to heaven? Janna's answer, Jesus is in my heart. At the end of the sermon she said I am going to pray to Jesus, I have no idea what she mumbled but it was awesome to see her response and her love.

Janna now has an ear infection and is in pain. I feel so bad.

She is loving all her princess dolls, movie, toys.

She is still having trouble and crying when being dropped off at school.

There was trash on the road when driving somewhere. Janna says, it makes Jesus sad when there is trash on the ground.

She is very interested what signs are saying, no smoking, handicap parking, etc....

She ate a hotdog for a the first this week.

She likes broccoli and peas lately.

I love my little girl and watching her grow.

Party

Janna had a great birthday party. We enjoyed celebrating with Friends and Family. Janna was spoiled with wonderful gifts.

My little girl who will always be "my baby" is growing up so fast. You have made life exciting, busy, always an adventure, you have taught us so much since you have arrived.

We love watching your learn, love, and laugh.

You are a great big sister who can just sing and calm Simon down.

You love books, fairy tales, and stories (from the mouth as you say).

You will always be my little princess who has captured my heart.
