The tinkerbell sticker

I got a call from Isaac about 2pm yesterday saying he heard from the daycare that Simon stuck a sticker way up in his nose. Around nap time is when it was uncomfortable enough he told someone. Isaac went over and got it out with tweezers and a lot of work. He told me Simon was really good and still for him. The description of how he got it out had me laughing so hard.

When I picked him up and asked about what happened today. I got " Audrey gave me a Tinkerbell sticker."

Simon is just fine and I am thankful Isaac is good at tweezers surgery.

Why I love Isaac!

Things I love about Isaac...and Fun memories to share...

He is stubborn and always up for a challenge.
The time he held his arm straight up for an hour because they were doing a similar challenge on Survivor and wanted to see how long he could do it. No matter how much I pleaded he kept that arm up.

His ability to fun noises.
The time he made Chabacka noises for over an hour on a car trip when we were first married. He talks like numerous characters. I love hearing him read to the kids in his voices. He does a great Elmo and Grover voice too.

He is a wonderful cook.
He knows what spice to add and what to remove so I will like it. He cooks to order a lot too, for me or for the kids. He makes me eat veggies too. He makes the best cheese omelets. I know it is a lot of work and appreciate him taking care of us. He also does the grocery shopping.

He is a great teacher.
He explains concepts and ideas to the kids so they can understand so much better than me. He can explain the idea on any level, high like his PhD level or low like the kids and everything in between.

He is great at knowing when I need a hug and he gives the best!

He does the little things around the house...take up the trash cans, start the dishwasher most nights, take the dog out, etc.

He is great at researching and find answers.
I once asked Isaac why it was a bunny at Easter, later that day I got a 20 minute explaination for an answer. Now he asks me if I want to short answer, the long answer, or was it just a random question I don't need the answer too.

He is strong.
Simon says he is so strong he can pick up the house. He can carry both kids and make it look easy. He can picked up heavy boxes or item for me or others.

He has a great heart.
He loves the lord with his whole heart and it passionate about him. He is senitive to the needy (animals and people).

He takes care of Molly.
Ever since Molly ran away and all around town when I took her to the vet. He now takes care of appointments and giving her pills and clipping her nails.

He delivers second breakfast and will get me donuts when I am at work and really want them. He used to bring me cappacinos weekly when I didn't drink coffee. He goes out of his way to make me happy and full.

We compliment each other.
I eat the stem of the broccoli and he eats the head.

He watches my "shows" with me.
He will watch America's Next Top Model and other shows with me, even if he doesn't like them, but because he wants to spend time with me. He also will tell me the ending to tv shows if I fall asleep at the end. (This happens often.)

I LOVE YOU ISAAC!

A couple weeks ago, while in Walmart for other reason, I found a deal on summer clothes. Janna was in desperate need of summer clothes. She didn even have one pair of shorts; a few tops hopefully will fit from last year. So although it wasn't our plan we got 14 articles of clothing (shorts, tank-tops, short-sleeve shirts) for about $38.00. Then it snows a couple days later, but I now know when it gets warm she will have something to wear that fits her. She has been growing so muchs lately. We had to go out and get some pants that were long enough for her at the end of January. I am now on a hunt for a new pair of gym shoes. Her current ones are very thin on the bottom, one puddle of water and her foot wil lbe soaked. Mom has a cute pair that we will try on soon and she if she likes them.

She is growing up so fast and so beautiful!

Puppets

We made puppet last weekend and the kids put on a puppet show.

Valentine's Day

I am so blessed with an awesome husband, who knows me so well.

I do like flowers but not at the price on Valentine's day and I can never make them last long.

After watching, Gnomeo and Juliet right before Christmas,

I have been really wanting a pink flamingo yard decoration. I know I am silly and I have no idea where I am going to place it. Isaac said I can't put it the front yard. But I love my gift from Isaac, I named him Bob.

A solar powered one. I love it!

He also got me, the dvd Breaking Dawn, to build to my collection. I also got a huge bad of swedish fish. On top of that he made me my favorite dinner, cancun. It was awesome.

Marriage

I read this post today on our Seedbed site and I just couldn't stop myself from passing it on.
I am having trouble linking it, so let's try this...

www.aburyseedbed.com
Under the Feed link
12 things I wish my pastor told me in pre-marital counseling

As I read each number I see images of Isaac and I on our journey and what and how we have learned and are still learning these valueable lessons. With each number I see a situation that is so funny to me now but at the time wasn't.

I hope you enjoy it!

Solo Star

About two weeks ago at school Janna came home with a sheet saying Solo Star. She sang "My God is so big" to her class during music. I am very proud of her. I would have never done that. She has a beautiful voice and loves to sing.

Simon and Potty

Simon is 99% potty trained. He is doing great. He wears underwear at night and hasn't had an accident yet. He even woke up one night and got me because he had to go potty. We are still working on BM at school and always going in the potty, but we are doing so much better. I am so proud of my baby boy. This is one stage I won't miss.

Thank you Mom for all the diapers you have bought us. It was such a blessing.

More Cheering

Janna Cheers #1

I smile ear to ear when I see these video. I am one proud mommy!
