Hip Hip Hooray Janna is two today!
It is crazy to think two years have gone by so fast. It doesn't seem like long ago I had my little baby under 6 pounds that needed everything. Now Janna is independent and wants to learn to do everything on her own. With in the past year she has learned so much. She is running around, talking in three word phrases, showing emotion (good and bad), eating with forks and spoons on her own, and just generally soaking in everything she can. As parents we have also learned a lot over the past two years. From changing diapers to potty training, determining certain cries to determining a tantrum or a sad child, bottles to spaghetti, cribs to futons(toddler bed), disciplining and saying no, and loving someone more than yourself. One thing has remained consist ant is her love for us. She may show it in different ways now. It was the smile or the pat on the back but now we get hugs and kisses and "love you". It is the greatest feeling in the world to feel loved.
God feels the same way about us. His love is consistent and never ending no matter how much we change or how independent we think we have become. We still need to fall back on him just as a child will always need her parents.
