Family Weekend

This past weekend we surprised the kids with a weekend of fun for just us.

We dropped off Molly at the Vet to be watched Saturday morning.
First Stop: GattiTown
Janna was thrilled, she has been asking to go to there or Chucky Cheese for a long time.
We ate lunch while watching Wreck it Ralph, then played games together.
They loved the big free bouncy house/ slide. Simon loved the roller coaster game. Isaac and I played a few games too. They each got a stuffed animal duck and candy for their tickets.
Second Stop: Starbucks (for me)
I got a wonderful triple crunch carmel frap. Yummy.
Third Stop: Courtyard Marriot
As we pulled up we told the kids we were staying here they had a pool so we were going to swim. Squeals came afterwards.  We went swimming and hung out in big beds:) Simon was curious because Daddy was going too. Is it is big pool for daddy to fit? So cute. The kids loved on Isaac and played for a long time in pool. Simon is much for comfortable in the pool and Janna is really improving.
Fourth Stop: Red Lobster (for Isaac and I)
We love crab legs. We enjoyed dinner and the kids were mostly good.
Fifth Stop: The movies for Epic
The kids have never been to a movie at night. We got popcorn and candy and had a good time. It was too loud for Simon and I had to hold his hears a lot, but Janna loved it. Isaac and I like the movie. Afterwards they wanted to go home and were tired but after much whining they were okay because we got to swim again for bed.
Next Morning:
Isaac brought us donuts. The kids slept til 8am.  We snuggled and watched cartoons. Then we went swimming. Then we checked out.
Simon was really tired and whining but improving a little as the morning moved on. We went to Barnes and Noble and hung out and the kids played with the legos and trains and looked at books.
We had lunch next. I wanted to keep shopping but Simon crashed in the car and it made more sense to come home.
We spent the afternoon relaxing and just having down time.
It was a wonderful weekend! I am so blessed with a wonderful family.
