Indoor fun

Over the past few weekends, it has been raining or wet so I have tried coming up with some fun indoor ideas that are cheap for the kids. This way I don't go crazy too. I get most of my fun ideas from pinterest.

Balloon paddles

These didn't last very long, but the kids just loved playing with the balloons.

Shooters

We made these out of yogert containers and balloons and shot mini marshmelows and puff balls. The kids had a good time with these. Molly loved the hard marshmellows.

We did a water, oil bottle thing, but that didn't keep their attention very long at all.

We have made chocolate chip muffins.

It has started warming up for a little bit so we going outside a little bit more.

This past Saturday grandma was here so we went shopping and out to eat. This next Saturday there is a free cheer clinic that plan on taking Janna to.

My puzzle

Janna did a 100 piece puzzle! I helped a little bit.

A bit of organizing

We have talked about getting one of these for awhile now for our knife at easy reach and away from the kids. Just so happened that our friends had two and gave us the other one. Isaac loves it and it is so handy. I think it looks great too.

We had three posters and they weren't all in frames. So I pass on the Veggie tale one the kids didn't like and bought a frame for the cars one. Then lined them up. I think it looks a lot better. I also bought the blue and purple cube on the bottom row to help hold the new christmas toys. I removed a lot of books and boxed them up and plan of rotating the one cube of books. I am still working on top area, those are toys most use or not put in closet. It is looking a lot better and the kids did a great job of sorting through and pass on a whole box of toys to other kids that they don't play with anymore.

This board has been sitting on the floor since the summer with Isaac going to hang it up. I did it for him and then sorted through the papers on the dress and hung them up so he knows what he has to do. It looks so much nicer.

I have turned all my hangers backwards in my closet and as I wear them put them in the right way. Then next year or sometime this summe I am going to go through it and get rid of the clothes I didn't wear. I wanted to empty the whole closet and start anew but I didn't have time for that.

Friday Night- The Wall vs Janna

Friday night I scrapbooked with my friends at church, Isaac called after the kids were alseep. He told me Janna hit her head on the wall. She was running and jumping on her bed when she was told to sit.

Saturday morning she came in to our room and told me her ear hurt. My first thought was ear infections until we got out in the living room and I saw her ear. It was very swollen and red and cut. Apparently she hit her ear on the window seal.

We were worried about the swelling and the look of it,so we took her to the doctor Saturday at noon. He said it was very bad bruise and to keep icing it up to 24 hours and then motrin to help with the swelling.

We tried our best not to brush by her ear or even touch it because was and still is hurting.

Here is a picture of her ear on Monday. It is a lot better.

Come dance with us!

Tonight was suppose to be Family Fun Night Winterfest at Janna's school but due to weather they cancelled it and School on Friday.

Janna was so sad. So I asked what she would like to do to make her happy. Her answer-we all get in our pj's and crazy dance.

Isaac played some fun upbeat songs on his ipod, and we all crazy danced. It was fun. I had just worked out so I didn't have the energy to keep up, plus I had just gotten over a bad cold and wasn't a 100%.

I loved watched Janna show us her dance moves.

I think we need to do this more often.
