Spring Break

For our mini-spring break we traveled to Indiana for the extended weekend. Mom and Dad moved/transitioned up there in January and we haven't seen them much since.

Friday:

Left after work and arrived in Greensburg around 9pm

After letting the kids play a bit we all went to bed

Saturday:

Leisurely morning

Lunch at old time soda shop that had great sandwiches

Columbus Children's Museum
(see separate post for pictures)
The kids crashed on the way home and stayed asleep as we put them in their room

Slept til dinner ( I got to nap too!)

Dinner with Tammy and Gary-spaghett(Janna's favorite)

The women stayed at Tammy and Gary's while the men watched the butler game at mom and dad's.

The kids took a long bath in their huge bathtub and got stories read to them.

Took the kids back to mom and dads then straight to bed before the UK game.

Watched the game, such a close game, but we lost.

Sunday:

Church in Columbus with mom and dad

Lunch at logan's

Packed to go to MawMaw's

Arrived at mawmaw's around 5pm -Isaac made us all pizza for dinner.

Walked around the lake with mawmaw-the kids liked the Geese but not their droppings:)

We got some good quality time in with MawMaw.

My favorite memory-watching cops with her.

I like the show but wasn't sure she would want to watch it, until she said she watches too.

Bed

Monday:

Isaac and Simon slept in. Janna played while mawmaw and I visited.

MawMaw made breakfast including the best coffee I have had! Yum!

Around 11am we headed back to Greenburg to mom and dad's apartment.

The kids stripped and did this as soon as were were back at mom and dad's apartment.

The kids napped while mom and I went to Walmart and shopped.

It was so nice to get out and browse without having to be anywhere.

Dinner with mom and dad-tacos! Then the kids did crafts.

Since it was storming so much we didn't get to play outside.

It took a long time to get the kids to sleep with the Butler vs Uconn game on

After the game which ended very late-Bed

Tuesday:

Packed and headed home.

The kids and I ran to a few stores while Isaac worked.

Then I unpacked and did laundry.

It was a great weekend full of fun and laughter and love! Thanks for the memories!
